Re: output trays

This is going way back for me, When I was working on the AS/300 model, I believe the driver needed to be installed with each setting separately. In these case, the drivers would be installed for each output tray you wanted to use.

Re: output trays

Since you are coming from an AS/400 I will skip the driver talk.

And I don't see a way to define it in XTOOLS so I assume it can't be at the AS/400 at all.

So it will need to be set as the default for print in general, because Xerox does the "If you don't state what you want, we will use the default" methodology.

So, at the MFP.

login as admin and go to Device > Tools > Device Settings > Output > Output Location and tell it where you want prints to go.

Re: output trays

Hi,

On the print driver at the Output Destination section you can choose: Center tray (inside the machine), Right top tray and Right middle tray for finisher and Left tray.

Re: output trays

The output trays are for different jobs that are getting printed. Job 1 sent to output 1, job 2 sent to output 2, and so forth. Finishers from what I have seen don't have output tray settings. They just keep the jobs separate.

A customer wants to choose in which output tray the paper will be put.

There is a br finisher. (left side, middle and 2 trays on the right side)

He prints from an AS400. I found how to select the papertray settings but cant find the output tray settings.

Can someone help me?
