phaser 6125 language barrier

Hi all

Really hope you can help as I'm at a complete loss.

I have a phaser 6125 which I bought a couple of days ago

I have installed as directed by the disc but half the properties of the printer are English 

the other half in Turkish, this wouldn't necessarily bother me if it wasn't the printing 

properties that I can't read, I've installed 3 times also I've rung the support line and they can't help

so I downloaded the driver from here but the outcome is the same I'm using windows xp, 

is this where I'm going wrong, if not could some1 plz explain how to sort it, if at all poss as

learning Turkish could take me a while

Hello mydesigns,

 

The issue that you are experiencing is due to a Microsoft problem, but we (Xerox) have a way to get you back on track.

 

Please try the following steps and hopefully this will resolve the issue for you.  If it does, please click the link (in the post) to <Accept as Solution> so that others can see this workaround.

 

Manually install the printer to LPT1 using the add printer wizard instead of to a USB or TCP/IP port.  Once installed, check the driver properties and verify everything is in English.  If it is all in English, change the port to a valid port (either USB or TCP/IP).

I am having the same issue, but am unable to manually install driver.  I insert disk - (D: ) Drive see autorun.inf / select copy files from D: drive/ hit OK and get: the specified location does not contain information about your hardware?
