Re: print faded down left side

Hi,

It looks like to be from drum cartridge or from the transfer roller. It is not from fuser.

print faded down left side

Product Name: Phaser 4622
Operating System: Windows 10

Hey there,

I have a Xerox Phaser 4622 I purchased about 18 months ago.  Almost from the beginning it had a fuser error message--so we'd turn it off and back on and that disappeared.  Eventually it started smearing prints, so we replaced the fuser.  In replacing the fuser we found bits of paper left from jams that seemed to be causing the smearing--but now the prints are regular intensity on the right half of the page, and half intensity on the left half.  Seems like a fuser issue?  But we just replaced it.  Replacement seemed easy--did we go wrong?

No error messages--everything reports to be working fine.

I'd appreciate any help--we'd like to get this printer back to work.

Thanks in advance!
