That's not an issue. These devices support most operating systems. That might be a symptom but it's not the problem.
On windows 7 x64 we had similar issues with our entire fleet using the Post Script global driver (can't remember the version, we've since switched the PCL 5 driver). We were using a print server to deploy the printers. When we encountered this issue, there were two solutions that worked for us:
1. Boot to safe mode and manually delete the driver folder "C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3" then log in as the user and re-install the driver.
2. Verify that the color settings are set to default in color management (which is in the control panel). We had a user somehow change this and it caused their photos to print in all kinds of weird colors like they were inverted or something.
Ultimately, changing the driver to PCL completely fixed our problems leading us to believe there was something corrupt in the PS global driver for our printer models.
