Re: printing on #10 envelopes on the C70 EX-i

Sure looks like they may need to rotate the paper 90 degrees in tray.

Re: printing on #10 envelopes on the C70 EX-i

They didn't follow my directions then, at no point anywhere did I program the printer, the application, or the driver with an envelope, so it is impossible for anything to request one. My settings were using Hvyweight 2.

Re: printing on #10 envelopes on the C70 EX-i

Then archive the job on the Fiery , make it a zip file and link it here, I will put it on mine and find out where it went wrong.

You never give details , so it makes it very hard to give you clear directions, like if you were to state that it isn't working, and it fails (turns red) in the Fiery (Command Workstation) then I could tell you the likely issue is that you tried to print it face down, which would not have been supported, and you could fix it by picking face - up instead.

tried all the steps but didnt get it to work.

There are about 15 points of failure, narrow down your statements.

Re: printing on #10 envelopes on the C70 EX-i

It's an odd setup to say the least.

Tray 5 clearly has a no envelopes logo (Note, the envelope must be upside down, 180 degrees from how it is pictured)

so I am not sure why the CEIG would have steps that use it.

I set mine as custom, 4.1*9.5 HVY 2, Flap closed because that's how I roll.

The envelope must be SEF (Tray can't take the LEF sizes) and upside down, Clockwise Rotation  box in Word does not do a thing to the printout.

Here is the driver itself

But there are many ways to get it to print, you need to find the best that works for you. Envelopes are a real PITA, because the dimensions change often, especially if you do it flap open, because the flap can change the dimensions by a lot.
