prints are off center

If I print an internal paper like the configiration page everything prints centered but anything I scan or send to the printer from the pc prints off center the print will be shifted all the way to right edge, the top to bottom is correct. It doesn't matter what drawer I print from I get the same results. I have tried adjusting the lead and tail adjustments in the NVM settings and nothing changes. I was going to upgrade the firmware but the strange thing is the firmware that is on the machine is 061.090.222.09400 and the firmware that xerox has for download is 061.090.220.19700 and when I tried to write the firmware it faild and says Downgrade not permitted. I know the firmware shouldn't have anything to do with it but I am kinda out of ideas other than replace the controler board which is nearly impossable to find for this printer. To my understanding and I may very well be wrong but the internal prints are saved in memory and go straight to the IOT board for printing but all other prints from the PC or the scanner has to be porcessed by the controller board before going to the IOT board for printing. If thats the case thats the only thing I can see that would cause the internal images to print correct but all others to not print correct. If anybody has any ideas please help.
