The Xerox Phaser 3420 panel shows the portuguese messagge "Papel Atolam.1", which means that there is a paper inside the printer (paper jam).
This message is shown even when the printer is completely empty. I openned the printer and took out the tuner, in order to certificate that there is no paper inside the printer. Press the button's printer has no effect.

Thanks for using the forums. Have you looked at the support online for your product? There may be some answers there. Also try powering off, waiting 30 seconds and then power the printer back on. If this does not help please contact service.
I had rebooted the printer before, but it didn't work. I tried to contact support, but they don't offer this service to this model, there is support available only to Phaser 3400 and Phaser 3450.
I tried contact the support anyway, even with a different model, but, when I put the number serie, the web page shows the message: "We are unable to determine your product."
