Re: "Print from USB" defaults

Oh, too bad :( Nevertheless, thank you for your help!

Changing the default values is a rather basic feature, isn't it? How can we suggest things to Xerox, so that they might implement this feature in a future firmware version? Changing the settings all the time when printing is rather annoying :/

Re: "Print from USB" defaults

That selection it is just for USB scanning. After a lot of searching I cannot find anything about USB duplex printing. Sorry!

Re: "Print from USB" defaults

Thanks again for the super fast response!

Unfortunately a firmware update didn't work, "Print from USB" still defaults to 2-sided color printing, no matter what I set in the settings for the USB app.

So, maybe a sofware update will work for you.

Thanks for the super fast response gabiene! (I'm afraid I'm not that fast ^^)

Just checked the settings and 1-sided scanning is already selected. See the screenshot below (German UI):

Re: "Print from USB" defaults

Hi,

You must setup the default from EWS (CWIS). Open a browser ( I.E., Edge ), login as admin ( 1111 is the default password ), click on the "Apps", click on USB and check for 2- sided scanning and set it for 1- sided and click OK.

"Print from USB" defaults

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to change the default settings for "Print from USB" of my WorkCentre 6515. When printing from a USB flash drive, my printer defaults to 2-sided color printing. I want to change that to 1-sided monochrome. How to achieve that? I couldn't find anything in neither the manual nor on the printer's config using the integrated webserver. Any ideas?

Greetings,

Daniel
