Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope you all doing well.

Recently we encounter a very odd problem on Xerox Versalink C7030 and C7130 machines. The machine stop working and a notification come up on screen to re-replace the toner cartridge, while we observed that there are more than 70 % powder in the cartridge. In this case, our technical engineer takes out the toner cartridge, shake it and re-install the same toner cartridge in the machine. The notification will be changed to “re-order the toner cartridge” or in some cases show the toner level to 1%. After that the machine is working with showing the notification and this situation is happing repeatedly.
We have a guess:

For this customer we installed four machines, and only in two of the machines we receive such problem. So, we compared the faulty machines with well working ones, and we accidently understand the faulty machines prints extremely low number of prints daily. So, we think there should a bug on xerox VersaLink that if the customer prints low number of pages daily, the toner powder stuck in cartridge and need to be shake again, and in this case the machine mistakenly thinks there is no powder in the cartridge. So, we believe that if there is a feature in machine to wake up the machine and refresh the toners powder every so and then, this problem will be solved.

FYI, we replaced the toner dispenser motor, toner dispenser unit and the developer tank, but we receive the same problem after two months.

Anyway, this is just a probability but any suggestion in this regard would be highly appreciated.
