Re: the print processor does not exist

Flesade,

Alot of the times there is an issue with the WINPRINT.DLL file, You can take this file from a working computer and place it in this folder, \Windows\System32\spool\prtprocs\x64

Just make sure that the print spooler is stopped first. Once copied over, reboot computer. Make sure you take this from a working Win 7 machine, as it might be different under a different OS.

the print processor does not exist

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

hello,

printing problem following windows7 update. the update deletes the locally installed printers, but the drivers are still present. if you want to reinstall a printer, you receive the following error message: "Can not install the printer, the print processor does not exist". this problem only appears with the PCL and PCL6 drivers, but the postscript driver works fine. if someone has encountered the problem, please share your solutions.

ps : sorry for my english, but it's not my current language.
