Can you provide some sort of detail as to what happens when you try?
Driver from Apple or did you download from Xerox?
Does the driver installer run or not?
Does it complete?
Do the Macs find it on the LAN?
We need at least something to troubleshoot your system because there is not an issue with the printer on 10.11.4 and the current driver from Xerox.com as I literally installed it just now to verify it works.
