Disable SNMP on the port server side. Should resolve it after all the clients reconnect next time.

wc 5875 - network controller error

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi

we push the printer to windows client through a GPO; each client has the printer configured as shared on our print server (e. g. \\srvprint01\xerox 5875); very often on the client it shows up a message saying "Network controller error. It requires operator intervention to turn off / on the system. Services machine possibly available but with reduced functionality." (translated from italian "Errore controller di rete. È richiesto l'intervento dell'utente per spegnere/riaccendere il sistema. Servizi macchina possibilmente disponibili ma con funzionalità ridotta. "). The printer is installed on the server which is running 2012R2 and it is using the PS driver.

If we setup the printer locally on the client (PCL6) the message does not appear.

How can we avoid these problems?

Thank you
