what does my Phaser 6350 want?

OK, after a lot more searching, I found that the OPC error message is caused by the latest update to the Mac OS. It's not reporting a real problem. 

I suppose that the transfer roller could still need replacing.

Just to follow up....I installed the latest driver for my system. Still unsure what the printer wants:

Supply levels in phaser software = imaging unit OK, transfer roller dead.

LCD screen on printer = transfer roller at end of life

Printer status window on computer = "OPC at end of life"

So, my one question is this: is the OPC the same as the transfer roller? There's no printer part to order that's called OPC.

My computer is a Mac Pro and I'm running 10.6.8. I haven't updated the driver in a long time.

The LCD panel on the printer says the transfer roller is at end of life. This would fit with the supply levels I'm seeing on the computer...transfer roller is the only one with no black in the status bar.

Message that pops up on computer screen when I print is "OPC is at end of life." It does allow me to print, however.

I'll try updating the driver, but would still like to know. The parts I can order are:

Fuser

Imaging Unit

Transfer Roller

Still don't know what either the drum or the OPC are. Are they both part of the imaging unit or the transfer roller?

is your computer a mac of windows?

This warning is for a drum.

Do you happen to be printing from a Mac? If so, this could be a false reading.

Especially if this warning is not coming up on the control panel of the printer.

Does it still allow you print? If so, then it is definitely a false warning and you may want to try updating your print driver.

I keep getting a "OPC at end-of-life" message on my computer when I try to print, and I thought that was the imaging unit. But when I look at the supply levels, the IU is about 3/4 good and the transfer roller seems to be dead.

Does OPC mean transfer roller?
