Hello ays,
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.
Hello:
I have for a long time the problem that the new xeroxofficeprtmgr is not longer starting the GUI ($DISPLAY set correctly; and X11 setup; I am NOT using wayland). As a result I cannot print on any of my Xerox AltaLink (and other older Xerox Workcentre 5875). This is a problem that started to appear with the migration from the older xeroxprmgr to the now named xeroxofficeprtmgr around 2021 / 2022.
I added /opt/XeroxOffice/prtsys/v5lib/ to the library path and ran an ldconfig as I noticed that xeroxofficprtmgr now has troubles to find critical libraries provided by Xerox. Nevertheless I am still seeing GTK Critical Errors in the /tmp/XeroxOfficeprtmgr.log file that seem to indicate some GTK problem. My suspicion is that Xerox compiled the source code against some older gtk version which triggers the Critical Errors, but without access to the source code I cannot tell what the actual trigger might be.

Any input is appreciated, because we are using a large quantity of Xerox machines at our research center and Xerox' regular service professionals are unable to address driver issues.
Thanks!
