Unless you haven't rebooted the Mac, Acrobat should be the same as every other application.
If you haven't rebooted, Adobe is likely still using the "last used settings'
So reboot the Mac and try again, failing that, set the driver to prompt for the accounting code in CUPS, reboot and see if it does it, if it does not, reinstall Acrobat.
I have set XSA to 7220. On windows computers everything works fine.
For MAC almost...
Printing works, except for printing PDF from AdobrReader. I get "the job was deleted due to invalid accounting ID's"
