I have recently purchased a 7100N printer. I was trying to enable accounting feature but never succeeded yet. So far i have done as belowed:
- Enable accounting (local accounting only. No other options are found in the centreware such as XSA, Network Accounting etc as claimed in the manual)
- Under authentication settings, i have enabled and set the LDAP server information.
- Inside the centreware, i have created some users
Besides, i created accounting IDs in the user driver properties. with same userid i created in the centreware. I set the passcode from my own in the driver properties.
What i would like to get to know is, how can i use LDAP to authenticate and control accounting based on LDAP username?
any help is appreciated.
