Re: Adobe Acrobat not prompted for accounting credentials

For Chrome it is Print Using System Dialog...(Ctrl+Shift +P)

And also in the Mac/Adobe realm, OSX hides the options and breaks bidi, so you need to expand it, then access the driver props in some cases before OSX will acknowledge them existing, and this will re-occur after a reboot.

For Adobe and some other applications like printing from Chrome you have to use the system print dialoge. These applications are using their own special one and it breaks the accounting freature for the Xerox copier. To resolve this you have to educate the user that when they print from these applications they need to select the "Printer..." button in the lower left corner of the window after they do file print.

They'll get a popup the first time but they can check the box to not show it in the future. They'll now see the standard print dialoge box.  Now when they click print they should get prompted for their codes. Enter the codes, select OK. Then click print again in the adobe print dialoge box. They'll need to do this everytime for adobe, chrome and any other application that does not use the standard print dialoge box.

If Acrobat is the problem you need to check things specific to it.

Most likely you have it using a Preset that other applications do not.

So go for File > Print > Printer and check the preset compared to other applications, then if needed, set it to Last used and manually turn on the accounting prompt in the driver from there if need be.
