I found some articles on how to pause, promote, and delete held jobs, but nothing for when the job has error out on the printer due to jamming or no paper message. I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797.
Hello, is there a way to set up machine to delete job after certain inactivity on error/jam/ or no paper?
Now when an error, jam or no paper message appears, the machine waits for the problem to be resolved and then prints out the remaining part of the job. There is a posssibly that one user could leave a machine with unresolved problem, and after that a different user could resolve the problem and see a job that is not meant for him.
Other manufactures (like sharp or HP or even a versalink ;) ) can delete these "hanging" jobs. I can't seem to find this option on an altalink.
