If you have a CA certificate installed on the CA tab, but get that error on the Domain Controller tab, I have no idea, typically that would only show that error if you neglected to install the matching cert in the CA tab.
This is where i see the message, after i install the cert in the screen you show above.
It can be ignored if it isn't needed, and it sounds like it isn't for your usage.
If you have one you load it on this tab.
So i got the CSR Done and received it back from the guy who does our certs. After installing everything seems to be operating just fine, but i do notice under Status it says "Missing CA Certificate". i cant find anything that suggests what that means or if it can be ignored. Everything seems to be operating as normal.
Yes, you send it.
When generating a CSR, does it send a request to the email address that you enter when creating the request? or do you have to go to view/export, export it, then send to the person that needs it?
