Hello Woliwon,
Much appreciated, it worked now and the configuration tab has appeared after installing the V3 Xerox global print driver PCL6. I've added the .inf file manually through the add printer wizard (Have Disk method) in Windows and was able to put the accounting code through the configuration tab and printed successfully!
Thanks again!
The V4 driver does not have the configuration tab. You need to download and use the " Xerox Desktop Print Experience App" to get those features and others. I recommend uninstalling the V4 driver. If you run the onstaller again, near the end choose " advanced install" or something like that and you can choose the V3 driver. Or, download the Xerox Global Print Driver V3 PCL6. You have to extract the files and do a manual install but it isn't too hard and it's the driver I would recommend. It will have the configuration tab.
Hi all,
i've installed the Xerox 7220\7225 using the add printer wizard method in Windows 11, and i've used the PCL6 driver for it, my printer is a netowrk printer so i used the TCP\IP add method. in our office we use "accounting codes" to let each user print on his own dept. and i've used to configure the accounting codes for each user's pc through the configuration tab which is now missing. pls note that i've used to install the printer by entering the IP of the printer in my web browser and then click on "Install Print/Scan Drivers" but now when i do that it shows the attached error "The arguments ar invalid."
