I have a new C315. Has never printed a single page, never plugged into the network. I'm the only one who has ever touched this machine.
I'm trying to get network setup, but it keeps asking for username and password. During setup, I gave it the same password I use for my other 30 machines. I'm using "admin" as the login, but it never lets me in.
How do I fix this?
I Factory reset the printer, but still can't get in, either with admin - 1111 or admin - <Serial Number>
Now it says user locked out. Tempted to just pack printer up and return it.
I had the same problem, Admin needs to have a capital A to get in.
I have the same issue, factory reset doesn't even reset the wifi key:
I think the default password is not the SN (QRF) or 1111. Low priority since it prints but I will try every number listed on the printer. I will also try every variation of default passwords like llll instead of 1111.
I know it is a default because the person setting up the printer skipped it but which default password. If I find it I will update.
Make sure you use a Capital A for Admin.
No luck so far, maybe the default password is a variation of the SN I haven't tried yet.
Maybe Admin isn't the default username, I will try other default usernames as well.
Any Luck? Having the same issue
Got sidetracked. So far I haven't had any luck. I have tried variations of admin, Admin, 4dmin, etc. and the SN. As soon as sidetrack is finished I will try again. I know for sure the username is Admin but Admin and SN don't work.
I will look at this tomorrow, if I don't reply ping me for a reminder. The default username was Admin and the password I thought was 1111 - but I would try Admin and the password as the serial number in all uppercase.
