Re: Cannot enable HTTPS

You create the self signed certificate apply it and reboot to get the other options to be available

Cannot enable HTTPS

Product Name: WorkCentre 5325/5330/5335
Operating System: Windows 7

We require having HTTPS/SSL enabled for our card readers and we have one 5330 which is unable to enable HTTPS.

The device was on the same firmware as the other ones we have onsite but i have upgraded it to a newer version in the hopes that would resolve it.

To enable HTTPS the device says it requires a "Machine Device Certificate".

I have gone to "Machine Device Certificate" and "Created a New Certificate".

The option in "Security" for "Certificate Management" is not available on this device but it is on the rest of the 5330's.

The certificates purpose is to enable "SSL Server".

How do i go about getting this option enabled/available?
