Have to solve this problem?  i m facing the same issue with work centre 5855

Job accounting is enabled in the machine and working for both print and copy but disabled in centreware. trying to enable it by edting the properties but job accouting combo is set to none (with no other option)

Script is no longer needed, CWW doesn't need it anymore.

Tool is internal Xerox I believe, document is not mine, it is the 2nd level rep who supports CWW that gave it to me, you can't get to her without calling Xerox for support on CWW.

The attached is very positive advance, answering my question. You have some SNMP OIDs update and very interesting jba client tool.

 

  • I am really keen now from where to obtain the SQL script you have applied to the CWW database?
  • The jba client diagnosting tool as well?

Hello

 

I read the troubloshooter section. It is basically testing the connectivity and device faults. 

I ran it and after the restart of the device and CWW the devices based accounting state has changed to "running".

 

Yet, Job accounting is still "disabled" in CWW.

Can you please take a look at the screenshots a have taken and advice me:

  • How I can enable the job account in CWW, whilst it is enabled in the MFP?
  • Is there some advanced troubleshooting information specifically focused on network accounting?

There is an entire section within the linked guide to running the troubleshooter.

I am missing something.

 

What troubleshooter you are reffering to?

 

I did all adviced configuration but there is still no working devices based accounting visible in CWW.

 

Please guide me about these troubleshooting steps?

Is it an application or a series of steps and maybe commands

Hello

 

Thank you for your advices. Actually I already did network accounting enabled but in CWW the device is not in device based accounting managed state.

 

In my installation there are chargeback codes and users added. MFP is added but device based accounting status is not so clear.

can you please advice me what ti do in CWW to configure the MFP in case the only step that should be done on the device is to enable Network accounting

Page 138 of the Evaluation guide is the beginning of the directions CWW side.

 

The printer just needs Network Accounting turned on via CWIS > Properties > Login / Permissions / Accounting > Accounting Methods
