you can also color in the driver if you use ad/ldap, you can specifi in the configuration tab of the driver, that only a specific color group is able to access the color setting of the driver , no need for accounting then ...

Denying users from printing colour

I have a client where most of the staff are only allowed to print in BW, a small number are allowed to print in colour.

 

Xerox support have pushed me down the Group Accounts/General Accounts route, is this the easiest way?

 

If so, I have been unable to find any literature on how to use said groups, how this would affect the staff printing, basically how to set it up and how people print.

 

Any help greatly appreciated,
