Denying users from printing colour

Product Name: Xerox AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows Server 2016 x64

HI,

TIA

I have a client where most of the staff are only allowed to print in BW, a small number are allowed to print in colour.

Xerox support have pushed me down the Group Accounts/General Accounts route, is this the easiest way?

If so, I have been unable to find any literature on how to use said groups, how this would affect the staff printing, basically how to set it up and how people print.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Thanks

Gareth

Re: Denying users from printing colour

you can also color in the driver if you use ad/ldap, you can specifi in the configuration tab of the driver, that only a specific color group is able to access the color setting of the driver , no need for accounting then ...
