The device has no such features, so anything done would be a workaround. Like hook up via USB and share the printer from your PC, that way when your PC is gone, or shut down, the printer does not exist.

None of the terms for the feature you need can be found anywhere in this device.

Xerox = Xerox Standard Accounting.

Generic = Accounting

Fuji-Xerox = Auditron

By the look of it, you can lock every setting except basic print, check page 252 of this User guide document.

Hello, I have a  Docuprint CM225fw printer at the share business center, Is there a way to lock access to it so printing can't be made when I'm not there? Like a password I can set so it can be locked and unlocked. 

or our staff have a code to access the printer, but others dont have the code.
