The printer (and the companies who make them) do not decide how you go about scanning them to find security threats, every device on a LAN is scanned the same way, if there is a hole to be found, it is the scanner that is responsible to find it, not the client to advertise it.
In short, contact Tenable or use their knowledgebase, or their Blog or use Google
Dear all,
Our company have a Nessus Tenable Scanner to scan the vulnerability of all our devices (Network devices, Servers, and Printers Fujixerox DocuCentre-V C3376, DocuCentre-IV C2265). With Network devices and servers we can use ssh protocol to scan the vulnerability, but with Printers Fujixerox we do not know how to scan vulnerability for them. Can you please help me about this function?
Thank you very much.
