ok, i tested it myself with the latest firmware, its still present
this needs to be escalated to software, so that way it can be resolved in the next firmware...
i also tested this on a xerox colorqube 93xx machine and also the same 666666 showed up
so seems its a common bug on all discovery controllers
can you make the escaltion?
061.121.221.29800 released today, maybe its solved there?
otherwise its best to call the software department to make an escalation
ok, keep us posted, the latestt firmware is not released, i hope begin next week
but also the previous release contains lots of fixes : 061.121.221.27200
next release will be : 061.121.221.29400
xerox will make a new general release if enough fixes are included :)
sometimes we need to wait, its just stupid that we are now aware of those "beta" firmwares, they are actually quite good and inlcudes fixes and enhancements if i look in the release notes...
I called the support, asking for the latest firmware that will be available from tomorrow. I hope that it will fix all the issue we have (a lot! for example, we cannot change admin password, because it is automatically reset after a restart!!!:smileymad:)
offcourse its safe, i do it all the time, firmwares are for updates/fixes, whul wouldt that be safe?
the only risk is that there something happens like a a power interrupt while upgrading
but you can still reflash using the altboot method when that happens, technicians know how todo this
