What was the resolution to the previous issue?
The new issue could be as simple as the time/date being wrong.
So I am finally able to upload a certificate!.
My challenge is now the machine will not accept the certificate I used Microsoft certificate Services on a windows server 2008r2 Enterprise edition.
Requested a Web server certificate, obtained the resulting signed certificate using DER encoded results. Saved the file as its default, certnew.cer
I changed the extension to .CRT from .cer, as I have read that they are interchangeable. Uploaded the certnew.crt file but the phaser 7100 only says there was a problem with the certificate; changes were not applied?
I have read and researched as much as possible but am at a standstill again.
Is there any documentation on the process of using Microsoft certificate services to process the CSR from the phaser 7100, or any Xerox machine for that matter?
This seems way Harder than it should be!

Hi crhardman
ie9 is caching the link to the login.
You can get it to prompt again by holding either the Shift or CTRL key down when you select the Properties tab.
It is one or the other and I can never remember which one works ;-)
Hi again!
What do you mean, is this only an issue on IE9?

ok, so I enabled SSL/TLS and rebooted the machine I reconnected to the machine using https:// , also I am doing this on IE 9. Now when I attempt to get to the properties screen, it shows login failed. Local user is the user at the top of the page. I do not know how to change it/login as system administrator Cheers Clayton
Hi!
Have you enabled TLS/SSL?
Do have a look HERE.

New owner to a Phaser 7100, Complete with Productivity Kit installed. It came pre-installed with firmware 17.20.31, seems to be the latest version available USING CWIS I have established a system admin login and password, and logged in under this username. It says I am "logged in" as the System Administrator. The machine has a static IP address. I created a CSR file under machine Digital Certificate Management. I used that file to create a certificate for upload. The machine acknowledges that a CSR was created and says to upload a signed certificate when received. Here is the problem: The "Upload Signed Certificate" button is greyed out!!! I cannot get it activated to upload the certificate for the machine. I must be doing something wrong, can anyone make a suggestion on what I need to do to get the button activated? Thanks in advance for your suggestions Clay
