The audit log is used for security logging purposes and not to show how many copies or prints a user has done.
I belive a paper report can be print out from the UI, but you would also download an install the Xerox CentreWare Web program as it has a reporting tool, though I don't know if that will be suffiicent for you.
As mentioned above you can also contact Xerox Support directly for help on this matter.
Hi JoeS,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Have you taken a look at the solution for printing the local auditron reports? If this is not the information you are looking for then please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I found only one post regarding this and it was never resolved... so I'd like to ask the same thing.
I have a Xerox Workcentre 5335, with pagepack and local accounting setup on it for users to authenticate to.
All of my user names are just 4-digit numbers.
We are going over our page counts per month and need to find out which users are causing this.
On the Job History on the WorkCentre Web console, I can see page count per user, but the log is only a single page.
When I download the full Audit Log, it does not have any information that I need to help me audit the users.
I see User Name but not their account name. The user names and comptuer names show up, but often don't match the account names I setup for that particular user on the printer.
Also, while it shows what they did (print, scan, copy, etc) it does not show the page count.
What I would like to see is "Account Name" and "Page Count" in each row of the Audit Log... or at the very least, include a page count per item in the Audit Log.
Is there a way to do this?
