Ominikey 5427 CK - Card Reader

Hi!

I'm using Ominikey 5427 CK on W7 and I configurated the device on the web 192... as HID Prox AWID and on contactless Config/prox config ATR mode as PROX H10304, and scan on General Overview the ATR are also correct, but, the card number is not showing on a second option as a notepad or excel.

and on W10 as a second issue is that I can't open the web 192.168.63.99 even the EEM driver is correctly installed.

Any recomendation? thanks!

Even if they state that they are compatible to work with your devies, this might not be exactly what you are looking for, "In a way" this is what I had to do to get the badge readers to work on my devices.

The badge readers need to be configured to be used on the devices. If they are not configured, they are just USB devices getting plugged.

Yes, I am using it for users to log on to the device to track usage
The USB port is active.
The problem is that this reader model is as approved in the Xerox card reader documentation, so I understand it has already been tested by someone.

equitrac reader maintainer is the software that I am using to program / reprogram readers to work on my devices here.

Where I am, we use Card readers (3 different version) on all WC devices. And no issue.

Am I understading that you are using the card readers to have users log onto the devices with a user badge to be able to track usage ? ex: AD/ equitrac / Service Centre

Are the USB ports active ?

The readers that you are trying to use, we have them here but only connected to PC's, I haven't tested on Xerox Devices.

 Are the cards programmed with the correct configuration to work on the printers ? I have to program the readers to be able to work on the WC's. (I am trying to find the program that I use)

And in the rare occation i had to renew the Security Certification on the device.

Hi

I am using the Omnikey 5427 CK card reader, but it does not take any action on the MFP, I tested it on several models, WC7970, WV3655, Versalink C405, Altalink C8055, the devices recognize the reader, but when it comes near the badge it does not make any webservice calls , the reader is configured as KeyboradWedge, and when connected to the desktop identifies the hexadecimal of the badge.
I tested with Ysoft Safeq6, Papercut, and Nddprint and same behavior at all, with TWN4 reader is ok.
