I have to admit, I am a little lost here. Email is setup on the web interface (CWIS) and after every time you save a setting it literally prompts you to test the settings in that same interface.
And if that isn't good enough, there is still the Remote Control Panel on the support tab of that same web interface. But to use it, you must have Java on the PC, and you must add the device as an exception in the Java Console, and will need to confirm a few warnings when you initiate it, add it in the exceptions and reload the browser before you even attempt to launch the Remote Control panel or it will fail. Firefox and Chrome are now fully blocking Java, so SAFARI/Internet Explorer only
