The default password is either 1111 or the device serial number. If that doesn't work, you will need to call into the Support Department for them to assist you: 1-800-821-2797

I have had this issue after reset it changed the default password 

after working hard I found out it was the serial number...

That is not information Xerox gives out, a service call is required to a technician.

The tech will boot the device from a USB stick and it will entirely wipe and format the printer HDD then do a fresh install.
