We have a (relatively) simple issue in that the administrator password for our workcentre 6515 does not match the one that has been recorded, meaning we are locked out and all attempts to login have failed.
I am aware of the process I need to follow to reset the password, but having contacted Xerox Tech Support multiple times, I either get hung-up on, sent knowledge base articles that don't help me or transferred to someone in such a loud call center that I can barely hear. The printer itself is out of warranty, and I'd like to avoid an engineer's visit because that would probably be overly costly for something that I've read can be done remotely.
I am confident enough that I can handle things my end if I was provided the file/key/whatever is needed to be uploaded to the printer itself. My question is how I would go about communicating this to Xerox, or finding someone who would be able to provide this file?
