Re: SNMP scan problem using Easy Printer Manager

Probably not, but you can see if TWAIN/WIA will work.

According to page 128 of the Userguide it is an option, but I don't have one to test it against.

Re: SNMP scan problem using Easy Printer Manager

Thank you for your answere but if i cannot use Easy Print Manager how can i scan using this equipment.

I bought 7 same devices.

Users scan from this device and save their documents in the share created by Easy Print Manager.

This is the most important thing.

I understand that we have to go back ?SNMP must be disabled (CEO requirment).

Can i use another program using the same method. Save scanned doc. in share (LAN) ?

Thank you

Re: SNMP scan problem using Easy Printer Manager

You can't have Easy Printer Manager without SNMP, it isn't a thing you will work around, if you decide you can't have SNMP, then you have decided you can't use Easy Printer Manager

SNMP scan problem using Easy Printer Manager

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello,

I use Xerox 3025 for scanning. I disabled SNMP from Xerox webpage and from my Printers.

After i done that the printer works but the scanning is not.

When i open Easy Printer Manager the printer is gray out (disabled). If  i reactivated SNMP from web xerox page on the easy printer manager printer become enable.

So what can i do ? because it needs to disabled SNMP for security reason

Thank you
