Thank you for using the Support Forum. There is a SPAR release software that is newer than the general release you have loaded.  Please take a look at the Readme file  I think this SPAR might help you.  If you agree then click on the link to the model machine you are using and update your machine,  In the event the new firmware does not correct the problem, please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Spinner Stuck After Logging In C8170

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

We're seeing an issue on the latest firmware (113.011.011.17810) on our C8170 where when a user swipes their card, it tries to login but the spinner/loader gets stuck at the front of the screen. The only option is to reboot the copier whenever it does it. We're seeing it at least 5 times a day.

We're using workplace suite (Version 5.6.204.6) convenience login with swipe cards which is working perfectly on all of our other machines. 

Anybody seen this issue? Is this a firmware bug?
