Hello,
The overview states "Before users can print documents from their computer, they must enter an accounting code in the print driver" it doesn't mention anything about enter one at the printer as well.
Thanks Tammy, forgive me but does this solution require each end user to have their own local account/user ID on the printer itself, and the end user would have to sign into the printer using that local account/ID - then when they release their print job their job is accounted for based on that account which was used to sign into the local printer?
We are trying to get a report based on the secure print code which is associated with each print job - trying to avoid forcing end users to log in locally to the printer each time they send a print job.
Hello amackinnon,
Check out the three below links on Xerox Standard Accounting this should be what you're looking for.

How to create, edit or view accounts.
How to set service tracking options.
Our company uses a central print server to manage a fleet of about 60 Altalink C8035s. Each user is assigned a secure print code by the IT dept, which gets entered into their PC's driver preferences - the employee eneters said code into the printer in order to release their print job. Is it possible to report on or track the number of print jobs (broken down by B&W/Color ideally) for each print code?
Thanks!
