Re: VersaLink C405DN - Cannot import DC certificate

The information is good, but doesn't answer the question.  When I import a certificate from my domain PKI, it sits in Other rather than Device certificates.  I can't use my domain PKI as the device certificate.  Any insight on a certificate template I may need to create and issue from for these printers?  My printer is the B405DN.  Thanks,

Re: VersaLink C405DN - Cannot import DC certificate

Pretty sure Domain Certs go in Trusted Root, what format is the cert?

Check out my attachment, it seems to be different than what you have

VersaLink C405DN - Cannot import DC certificate

Product Name: VersaLink C405 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Greetings. I'm trying to enable CAC authentication on a VersaLink C405DN. I'm following Common Access Card for Xerox VersaLink Printers - system configuration guide from Sep 2019. I have been able to install the Trusted Root and Intermediate CA certificates properly. I wanted to installt the DC certificate but I am not sure "where" to import it. In system > security certificates I have the following options: "Device certificates", "trusted root CAC certificates", "intermediate CA certificates", "other certificates" and "CRL". I do not see any "Domain controller certificates" section. I tried to import it in Root, Intermediate and other certificates section but got the following error message: "Import failed. The certificate is not applicable". Could you please let me know where I'm suppose to import it? Thank you very much for your help!
