Main problem is at smtp of office365.com which is not receiving the emails/scan. Other commercial smtp servers are accepting my emails, so the system is functioning.
The steps you gave me, are familiar and working accorindgly with other smtp servers
I am afraid that the version of TSL is not working properly from the scan to the smtp server of office365. I found out that they will not accept TSL1.0 anymore, which can be the cause of the problem, however I clicked in security of Xerox the TSL on at TSL1.2
The Fault Code 027-779 is an Authentication Failure By SMTP-AUTH. HERE are the steps from the KB. You may have already tried this but thought I would pass along in case you missed something.
Since 06-07-2020 I have the problem that the Versalink C405 is not sending email through the smpt server of office365. Till last friday it worked fine. (First I got error code 016-772 and after some changes now it is remaining to 027-779)
-> I changed ethernet from dualstack to IPv4
Port 587 (also tried 25)
Starttls (3 option not the one if available)
user and password as defined in office365
In security defined TLS 1.2 (Microsoft is facing out older version 1.0, so that should be ok)
When I use another smtp server from another commercial company, it works normally
Microsoft diagnosed and concluded that the emails are not arriving
Firmware is up to date with the last firmware of 68.50.61
Is there another firmware in development to solve this issue or are there another settings to change?
It is still strange that without changing the settings of Versalink or the office365 account, scanning is failing now.
