Re: WC 5655: Automatically loging off a user

well; there is some fix in q new firmware, but dont know if its related : System
timeout setting is reset to the default value after a reboot

latest firmware =  25_54_65_120, but you need to contact xerox to obtain it

Re: WC 5655: Automatically loging off a user

Thank you for responding, Fabio.

System Timer does not seem to be the answer.  I have already set it to 15 seconds (shortest possible).  It does not have any effect on auto logout of a user account, which is taking about 3 minutes.  It is a very long time for recording accurate accounting counters.

There also are the following timers:  Auto Resume (0.5 min), Incomplete Scan (1 min) and Held Job Timeout (24 hrs).  None of these is what I am looking for.  There has to be another timer.

Could this be related to software/firmware version?  Current software versions are as follows:  System 025.054.053.00000, UI 025.061.036, IOT 092.011.000, SIP 025.056.014

I also noticed that System Timeout is getting reset to its default 1.5 min.  I am not sure what is causing it.

Thanks for your help.

WC 5655: Automatically loging off a user

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

XSA is enabled and user accounts are setup. System timer is set to 15 seconds.

User does not get logged off automatically after making copies and there is 15 seconds of inactivity.  But, the system timer kicks in when logged in as 'admin'.

How do I ensure that a user gets logged off automatically if the user does not take the time to logoff?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.
