If you have network accounting tunred on, you will need to disable this and return the state to Xerox Standard Accounting. Then the reset reports button will show up.
Your default admin login is admin/1111
If it's been changed call Xerox and give the Serial number/Total impressions and they can reset your password to that.
They will give a key to be entered in Machine Status->Tools>General>Feature installation
Our problem is we can't even get into the machines as administrators and nobody at Xerox seems to be able to help with this seemingly simple step!
there is also a tool out , jbaclient.exe, with that tool you can clear out the accounting
its a bug on certain firmwares, so if you cleared it, be sure to update your machine
otherwise problem comes back

Xerox Accounting is full
1. Press the Machine Status button.
2. Select the Tools tab.
3. Select the Accounting Settings button.
4. Select the Accounting Mode button.
5. Select the Report and Reset button.
6. Select the Resets tab.
7. Select Reset Usage for All Users, then select Reset to Confirm.
8. Press the Log In/Out button to exit Tools.
9. Select the Logout button.
I a having the same issue. I have received no help from Xerox support and I could not upload the file as well. Please help!
Hello Southerner. What was the final resolution to this problem?
The error message is "Error processing upload request." That is the same error on both the patch and the main file. The error on the UI (Accounting out of memory) is so insistant that I can not get the option to update locally as the error just keeps popping up and clearing the error still brings it back in about 5 seconds. That is why I am trying to do it remotely via the admin web page for the 7845.
Hi Southerner,
Please contact them again for a solution. I am unable to see what the error message says.
Cheryl,
I have been in contact with first and second level support. They sent me the file to use. Attempts to upload both the patch and the firmware result in this error:
