It is not, I would guess it is a hardware failure, but update the firmware, if it goes away, all is well, if it doesn't, call Xerox

Hi. An end user recently implemented secure print and changed the disk overwrite schedule from weekly to daily. The last 3 days inthe mornings they walked in and the machine is attempting to shut down and reboot (which is activity post image overwrite). So, its locked in shut down mode, and the end user has to cold boot the machine. It comes back online. Is this a known bug?
