I havent removed the possibility of it being application<->driver related. I have to engage the end user and perform some tests such as if its happening in Chrome, Acrobat, Office, Outlook, or just a certain setting inside the application. As of now, I am looking to see if this is a known issue, which seems it is not previously reported
So have you checked the permissions? tried the GPD? verified the level of firmware matches that linked here as well as 2 weeks ago when you were linked the same one by me as well as Fabio?
If you are certain you have a bug, call Xerox and they will spar it, but they will wipe your device first, because I know for certain that what you are seeing does not occur on the firmware I linked, so they will not be able to replicate it, and when they can't replicate an issue they need to eliminate possible corruption, and the only way to do that is to wipe the device.
Im using the PS driver, the user limits have not changed from default (1600000). Its a new i series, firmware .073
It's never been reported, and I cannot replicate it by using that driver with XSA, but I can only test on current firmwares, so in this case I am on 073.040.126.28100
Possibly someone messed around in the permissions (In the same place, but a different thing than XSA), But it seems that would likely do opposite of what you are seeing
I would at this point add that if you care at all about color, PCL is a terrible driver, it has no color control and is also slower, I would suggest PS.
XSA doesn't have a simplex/duplex tracking ability, are you using something else?
If all else fails, see what happens with the GPD. And again, I highly suggest PS over PCL
XSA set to track color only
Windows print driver 5.433.16.0
When printing in color, Users are prompted to enter in User ID / default accounting group
Jobs that are simplex color are printed
Jobs that are duplex color are deleted with print out sheet saying job deleted because account is depleted
Is this a known bug?
