Re: Widget resources

I know this thread is quite old. I had this error, too, solved it by using a less complex password for local account AND SQL connection (no special characters)
Hope this helps.

Re: Widget resources

i'm in the same boat with the same error message. I've done the un\re-install several times, updated .net, and tried installing to other systems with the same issue. This has been sporadically happening for the last year and usually a re\un-install was fixing it. but no longer.

Re: Widget resources

Any other ideas as to why this may occur?  I've re-installed CCW and the error continues.  Seems to be related to a file not being accessible for some reason.

Please and Thank you  :)

Re: Widget resources

hi, had same issue.

I had to make the run as account a local admin to get this to work

Re: Widget resources

I just installed this for our organization and I am getting the same error. I tried re-starting the web service a couple of times, but still no luck.  Has this error popped up for you again?

Re: Widget resources

Good news: I logged into the server, opened IIS manager, browsed to the default web site and restarted it: I'm able to get into CWW again. Perhaps this is a transient issue during startup.

Re: Widget resources

Yes, I'm seeing the same issue today.

Incidentally, we are running v5 of CWW. Also we postponed the last round of Patch Tuesday updates until this past weekend, and I did not see this issue last week.

Widget resources

Product Name: CentreWare Web
Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 x64

Hello.

Our Centreware Web is somewhat crippled. Not sure where to look as my knowledge on backend of cww is limited. We keep getting an error message: "There is a problem loading the Widget resources. This is typically caused by a security or connection problem when fetching the ld.aspx file."

Thank you so much for pointing me the right direction.

Juraj.
