I found an article on the card reader that may assist you, secure access card reader not working. If you are still having issues after trying these steps, I suggest that you call into our support department for assistance @ 1-800-821-2797.

Workcentre 5775, how to realize ID system marking on Linux system

Operating System: Linux
Install the card reader, and the Linux system prints files, but the machine doesn't respond. What should I do
