I did this and it just brings me to options of talking about the IP address
How do I get to the screen shot showing? as I do not see permissions anywhere
Both EWS and CWIS are the same thing, its a webpage built into all printers on a network, it is where you go to set them up instead of an application.
To get to this one and all the others, you open any web browser and put the IP address of the device in the address bar as if it were a webpage.
On the 6510, you can get the IP (IPv4) addres by selecting Device > About
hi,
how do you access the page on the screen shot?
Thanks so much! For your help and the great explanation.
It's exactly what I wanted. I don't know hoe I didn't see this.
Have a nice year.
I have no idea what you mean by Connect button, but you can simply make every user have admin abilities so the login won't be required.
EWS > Permissions > Guest Access > Edit > Device User Role
Access All
For security reasons, you can't do this for the webpage itself, because anyone who had access to the LAN could effectively cripple the device
Hello dlosada,
Unfortunately, I don't believe this can be set to auto log on for security reasons.
I have an Admin account defined in my WorkCentre 6515DNI. I am the only user of this device. Is there a way to always start the printer logged in as Admin instead of having to click each time on the "Connect" button in the printer panel or in the web page?
