Re: XDA will not discover new devices but can be added manually.

Thanks for pointing that out, CathyO. It's odd that devices aren't being discovered automatically. I'll give the hotline a call and see if they have a solution. If anyone else has experienced this issue and found a fix, do share! 👍🏼

Re: XDA will not discover new devices but can be added manually.

Hello there,

I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797.

Thanks,

XDA will not discover new devices but can be added manually.

Before I remove and re-install the XDA (578 devices) I wanted to check and see if there was something else that could be checked.

I split an XDA that had nearly 1,800 devices onto two virtual 2016 servers. I split the IP ranges and verified there are no duplicates between the XDA clients. The XDA that we are currently adding new devices to will not discover new devices. They can be added one at a time manually. If the server is rebooted it will find a few devices the first time it is ran, but then stops until the server is restarted. Could the DB be correupt??? Are there additional troubleshooting options that can be done? Thanks
