Hi,

After a lot of researching it looks like neither of these options exist anywhere in UI tools or machine's web interface (as per service manual). You will need a tech to perform an HDD format via Special Boot.

Yes, I believe I can.

But can you show me the right path, where I can do that? Because in the EWS I'm not finding.

Hi,

The login is no problem for me. It would be really helpful that you show me, the exact place in the backend, for me to: start ‘Initialize certificate’ under Maintenance

The closest thing I found is this one:

I need to hold the menu button for 7 sec & release to enter the maintennce mode physically?

Or I can do this in the Embedded Web Server?

Hi Daniel, 

Below are the instructions or you can click here for the knowledge base article.

To log in to the Embedded Web Server as the administrator:

  1. At your computer, open a Web browser.
  2. In the Address field, type the IP address of the printer, then press Enter or Return.
  3. In the top right area of the page, click Log In.
  4. For User Accounts, click or type admin.
  5. For Password Required, type the administrator password.

    Note: Depending on when the device was manufactured or the software version installed, the default password may be the device serial number or 1111.

  6. Click Log In.

Can you tell me the procedure to do this: start ‘Initialize certificate’ under Maintenance. In the web interface for the MDF Xerox Versalink C7025?

016-405 Certificate database file is wrong.

Procedure:

Advise the customer to start ‘Initialize certificate’ under Maintenance

Hi,

I have this error: 016-405 in one Versalink C7025 of my company. How can I fix it?

I don't know if it's because of this, but I can't do nothing in the backend of the printer.

Everytime I try to delete a contact, or create one, or modify, I have always the error:

The Requested operation cannot be processed
