It definately is not a known issue and I cannot replicate it here.
I guess you would need to reinstall
Hi Joe,
Thanks for your answer.
I could manage to get the "Accounting" option selectable by disabling bi directional communication.
But then, by curiosity, I tried to reenable the bi directional communication (just to see what were the changes). After doing so, I tried to disable the bi directional communication once again and the "Accounting" option doesn't show up anymore. Whatever I do, the "Accounting" option refuses to show up.
Is this a known problem?
Thank you!
I would suggest downloading and installing the latest Global driver which should find the settings and apply them for you.
But, as long as you have the correct driver installed.
So if you go to Start > Devices and Printers when you right click the printer make sure you go to Printer Properties and not Properties (The link you referenced was written when XP was current, not Win7 and up)
The rest should fall in line correctly with that one change.
When you get to the correct place, if Accounting is not selectable, disable the bi directional communication and click OK then go back in and it will then be selectable.
Hi,
I've been using a Xerox WorkCentre 7132 for a while and everything worked fine until I tried to use Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA). (I'm trying to use group accounts.)
Now that XSA is on, whenever I try to print from a computer on the network, it looks like the work gets lost somehow.
The work doesn't print and doesn't get queued on the printer or on my computer. (I'm using Windows 7 x64, French)
(By the way, if I do a manual copy with the printer, it works fine and I can select a group account.)
I think I have to modify some settings on the printer in order to print from a computer. I read this article, but I can't find the "Configuration tab" or the "Account Mode" at steps 2 or 3 for PCL driver.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
Thank you!
