Default to A4?

All our paper trays are set to A4 or A3 (none are set to US Letter). I also checked that Paper Size Preference is set to Metric - are those the settings you were referring to by 'Default media size'?

Hi,

The handling of media is as follows:

1. App will query MFP to pull all supported media sizes and receives set of values from MFP.
2. App will show them in the list without sorting them(meaning ,list may get A4 on the top or second or third based on the data received from MFP).

Possible Work Around:

From our observation, default media size configured in MFP is coming in the list as top item.  We have tried a Xerox VersaLink B405 with default media size configured to A4, and it is always getting A4 coming in the XWA top.

Hi Dan,

Are you printing via the app in local mode?  Or are you printing via the App using one of the Xerox print management solutions, either Workplace Suite or Workplace Cloud?

I've noticed that when printing a document from the iOS (or Android) Workplace app, the media size always defaults to US Letter. As we are in the UK though, we use A4 paper and all of our copiers (Altalink 8135s) are configured accordingly.

Is there any way to make the app default to A4, or to look at what paper the copiers on our network have in their paper trays?
